Has anyone on here ever participated in the Wounded Warrior Project where you take wounded veterans deer hunting? I don't really have a exact location to take them but was wondering if there was anyway I can help out someone who is involved. Anyone with any insight?

I run the Gulf Coast Chapter of Freedom Hunters.
We are a 100% volunteer non profit that takes injured veterans and children of deployed solders hunting and fishing.
WWP does some good but they paid over 19 million in salaries last year. So how many of your dollars go to veterans ?
Feel free to give me a call or email if you have any questions about Freedom Hunters.

It is a great project. There are hunts in Central MS in early January that I have helped out with in the past and plan to do so this year as well. Last year's January hunts were in conjunction with Wood, Wheels and Water Outdoors.

Ditto what he said! I really hate it for the troops, but WW is about making money, not the troops!
