Missed the first 30 minutes but enjoyed the rest of show. I do not know if there is a better ambassador for state of Mississippi and New Orleans than this family.

Webster should change it's definition of class......to Archie Manning.

The first 2-3 minutes of watching Archie try to jog was painful thing to watch. His legs have about give out. I do know this, Peyton and Eli received their running skills from their mom.

It was awesome! What a man and a father.

I thought it showed a pretty good light on ole miss as well.

Not to mention, I counted three members of fighting bayou being interviewed.

The success of those three, coupled with the success of Mr. Poole (proprietor of Grantham Poole CPAs) as well as others that played on those "Archie teams" should be the subject of its own documentary. Bill Vandevender alone is one of the most successful business men in the history of Mississippi (and also now owns the Onward Store - there is an article on the subject in the new Garden & Gun). Pete Boone was the CEO of Sunburst Bank, Founder of the Business Bank of Baton Rouge and (much to the dismay of OM fans) was the two time AD at Ole Miss and was responsible for a lot of success in those tenures (as well as unexplainable failure). Bo Bowen, running back on those teams, is responsible for tens of thousands of individuals hearing and accepting the Gospel in the Ukraine.

I don't know if there will ever again be a membership available in that club, but if there is, you have to figure the rights of first refusal are squarely in the hands of one of the Mannings. I understand the Peyton and Eli still try to make a hunt or two every year.

As to the documentary, one of the most astounding things is that they did not even really delve into how great the careers of Peyton and Eli have been and continue to be. Peyton will go down in history as the greatest QB to ever play the game. There is very little doubt about that IMO. Eli, while not Peyton, has two Super Bowl rings and his beloved in NYC...probably the hardest city in the country to acquire and maintain respect in, whether you are an athlete or a businessman.

I do not know if there is any truth at all to this and I am not saying there is I am just curious if anyone has heard this before. A friend of mine that is an Ole Miss fan said that supposedly Archie had an illegitimate son. Claims he went to Ole Miss and now works for Under Armour and has a part in the UA all American game. Never heard this before and really find it kind of hard to believe.

Great story and glad to see Mississippi represented without any negativity. Very well written documentary. Futher solidifying that you are who you hang with and your college buddies and hunting buddies are with you the rest of your life.

My acknowledgement of RUMORS that I clearly said are UNSUBSTANTIATED is the dumbest post you've read...

Interesting.

I was asking if anyone had ever heard of this as I had never heard it. This seems like something that would get out for sure if it was actually true, thus why I said in my original post that I do not believe it.
