Three Bold Almost Mid-Season Predictions
(1) There will be no SEC team in the BCSCG...it will likely be an ACC team (Clemson or FSU) vs. Ohio State or Oregon/Stanford. Bama is gonna lose a game in either the SECCG or to LSU.
(2) Johnny Manziel is going to deserve the Heisman on the field, statistically, but Oregon or Ohio State's QB is gonna win it.
(3) Mississippi State is going to beat Ole Miss in the Egg Bowl.
What are your three bold predictions?

1 - I don't think it's too bold, it's pretty obvious the SEC has more parity at the top and is gonna cannibalize one another...tis a shameDeltamud77 wrote:(1) There will be no SEC team in the BCSCG...it will likely be an ACC team (Clemson or FSU) vs. Ohio State or Oregon/Stanford. 2 - I agree, I thought he'd do this or really flame out...as it doesn't appear I was right on the flame out, I agree with you...he is too unpopular for college footballs beauty pagent this year regardless
3 - If you wouldn't have picked MSU over Ole Miss in the Egg Bowl on Friday, I don't know why you would now (if you picked them to beat Ole Miss preseason, then by all mean your opinion are you are entitled, bolder predictions have been made)...I don't think anything happened Saturday night to change an opinion. Nobody shoulda picked an upset...and Ole Miss defense played way better than coulda been expected. Horrible night on offensive side of the ball, coaching and execution...pick up and move on....Ole Miss will be just fine

3 bold predictions...
1) Ed Orgeron takes USC to a bowl game and makes things just amazingly amusing in L.A. (i pick it just cause it's gonna be so fun to watch, not that I really care either way)
2) Georgia wins the SEC championship in Atlanta over whoever the play and the entire SEC calls for major anarchy when SEC isn't represented in BCS title game with Georgia and one team from West with only 1 loss.
3) Only 8 teams go to a bowl from SEC

Re: Three Bold Almost Mid-Season Predictions
1.Disagree- Alabama will be in the national championship and win it, they played against the best defense they will face all year (except in the national championship game). No matter how much you hate Ole Miss they played a heck of a defensive game. LSU- Come on Man , In Tuscaloosa, will never happen. Alabama's schedule is set up perfect to repeat.Deltamud77 wrote:(1) There will be no SEC team in the BCSCG...it will likely be an ACC team (Clemson or FSU) vs. Ohio State or Oregon/Stanford. 2. Agree- Manziel (no matter the the mouth) deserves the Heisman.
3.Disagree- Don't believe this one either and I am not a State hater. Ole Miss by 10

LSU can definitely beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Wouldn't surprise me at all. LSU and Georgia both have better defenses than ole miss.mossyisland wrote:

Re: Three Bold Almost Mid-Season Predictions
This Bama team reminds me of the 2010 Alabama team...plenty of talent to win the championship, but they just lack the swagger of a championship team for some reason (they lost to LSU and Auburn that year for those that don't remember).
I am not guaranteeing LSU beats them, but they can beat them. The same with Georgia. I actually think Georgia is going to continue to improve as the season progresses. I would actually put money on UGA against Bama on a neutral field as I sit here today.
I think Ole Miss is a good football team and I have said that since before the season when I predicted a 9 win season for them. I think they will beat LSU as a matter of fact since the game is in Oxford. However, they could also lose to LSU, aTm, Auburn, Arkansas and even lowly MSU. They are two years away, IMO, from being considered a true threat to contend for the West.

Re: Three Bold Almost Mid-Season Predictions
I have said from the start that Bama would not repeat. I still think they lose to LSU and very easily could lose to UGA. Outside of McCarron and Mosely this is a very young team. A&M will probably have a close shoot out game with anybody they play therefore they could beat or lose to anyone.
Manziel deserves it but will not win it.
Not sure abou the egg bowl. If State can get some consistent offense it is a toss up. If Ole Miss can get a good OL they could be dangerous.

1) Alabama rolls because Saban's deal with lucifer.
2) OM only wins 3-4 more with your freshman lineup.
3) GH22 gets laid by the end of the year.

Right now you are technically 1-0, but nice work nonetheless.
