Just figured I'd throw it out there. Some places will not allow hunting until the shutdown's over.

Really sucks for those who are paid by the Gov't. I'll just have to change plans.

I have heard that they are telling folks not to hunt, but hey are not enforcing it (ie, not writing tickets). Take that for what it's worth, I guess.

Law Enforcement are considered "essential personnel" so they are there working "without pay"....Probably not the best time to test them out ha!

How do you know it sucks? Are you trying to figure out how to make some extra money to cover your bills as you normally do every month? Over paid? Workers in the private sector that do comparable work to me make more than I do. Take your boo whoo and shove it up your àss.

Well guys, my comment naturally struck a nerve. The point is that in private sector its called a layoff! and those layed off know they do not get back pay and probably will not get their jobs back. I know because I have had to makemake the call on who to cut.

I wasnt griping because of my pay rate mostly because i do bettern i deserve.
i have worked my booty to get what I have (as im sure alot of yall have) i have worked 3 & 4 jobs at a time and have literally dug ditches and crawled through shat to pay my bills an get ahead.
I love what I do and where I work, and i not hateing on gov workers, but as a whole fed employees make a great deal more than private sector guys do and that is a fact!

Patrick, I dont know what you make or what you do and I dont care, yeah it suxs for you and everyone thats scrambling during this bs the pres an congress threw on ya, i feel for ya, and i know its tough especially bein a newlywed but most likely you get back pay in the aftermath and u still got job and u still got insurance and u dont lose tenure.
