Well guys.....This is my last 12 hour shift for this tour in Saudi....I would like to thank those of you that allowed me to escape the depths of hell over here and brought me back home with your threads and stories. I can honestly say that ya'll are some of the best people I've never met (hahaha!) and hope to meet most of you soon. I have been on here since the beginning under various names due to always forgetting my info in the offseason...Some of you gave to my family after Katrina in the way of money for my niece and nephews Christmas...some of ya'll gave great information....some gave me a laugh or two...but you all give something in the way of bringing a person "home"....
I had some rough days over here and I always found something on this site to cheer me up or to bring me home in thought....I had some offers to hunt with some of you when I get home and I sincerely appreciate all the offers, but more than that, I appreciate the fact that you supported a troop that you didn't really know....that means more to me than ya'll know.
Hell, anyone that knows any true Mississippian knows that we are good people....that in all reality, we are some of the least racist people on the face of the earth...that we aren't ignorant to the fact that bad people come in all flavors....not just chocolate...
I am honored to know ya'll and though I have missed alot of functions since I have been gone from home, ya'll helped me get through alot of days.
I was right there with ya'll putting slabs on the pontoon blind....using the Katrina scraps on the new blind.....pulling out slabs at the res....putting down flooring....and watching the pot of gumbo at the festival.
I sincerely hope that I get to meet ya'll, as that I feel I know most of you already...hell, I've been going to Canada for years with Anatidea...
Thank ya'll from the bottom of my heart....I'm a Black Democrat now....so you know where I will be and very soon I will be heading back home to mosquitoes....salt water...delta mud....and the best people I know that exist on this planet....Mississippians....
Thank you all....
