Bluewings in 50 days or so - try a MSDucks shoot?
By all indications, looks likely that blue-winged teal season will be 9 days this year. If so, I'm guessing it'll run about September 18-26. I'd like to host a MSDucks teal shoot for 9 or 10 folks to include bunk the night before, everyone bring something to grill out and socialize. Hunt the following morning. It will by necessity be a weekday hunt, probably a Tuesday or Wednesay. Guest fee plus donation to DuckSouth.com website. Any interest?

I'm in!! I can always use a day away from work in the woods.
A bad day hunting is better than a good day working.

Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

i dont know CHUCKLE12,TEUL2,DUKBUM(the better shot) all together on a hunt with alcohol! could be a awesome site
can we shoot lead? thats just for the snakes
will we be in a air-conditioned blind? it might be a little hot, iam not good with them skeeters either! i think we need to only shoot 410's just to see who can hit!

I don't drink alcohol. It is bad for you.
Who am I kidding.
I shoot better when I am hungover. I pick my shots as not to increase the ringing in my head unnecessarily.

dr2 how sure are you about the 9 days? i mean with bwt being the last ducks to migrate back north i would think that they would have arrived to most favorable conditions. ya know with all the late rain and such. gosh i sure hope we get that extra week.
anyway as always good hunting

Bigwater, like yourself and everyone else, I'd of expected them to have timed their arrival just right. But have heard 9 day "chatter" from three separate sources, including one of Migratory Bird's pilots. Fingers crossed for 3 weekends, too, and still think even odds on 60 days season for big ducks. But that's purely conjecture. At any rate, I'm planning on hosting a MSDucks shoot during teal season and am working on a early spring snow goose shoot.
