Is there a decent place to actually EAT catfish around Belzoni? By the way, I am bringing an Afghanistan veteran who was wounded by and IED to hunt Thursday-Sunday. Anyone going to be in the Isola/Belzoni area during that time? I'd love for you to drop by the camp house during the afternoon for a cold drank or something.

I don't think its called 107 anymore though. Missy's maybe? Theres a pretty good place across the river in Hollandale though called Bart's. Most of our crew will be in Isola Friday thru Sunday or Monday. PM me if you want directions to Barts or want to stop by the Honey Badger shack for a beverage.

You always have the Hometown in Inverness. Not bad.

esjay and i ate at alison's the other night. he had the catfish taco appetizer and i had the catfish burrito (?)...i should'a gotten the tacos! burrito was good, though.

varsity usually has catfish on the lunch buffet, but haven't been in a while so may not be the best in town.

The honey badger crew is almost as bad as the El Camino crew

nolas best food in the delta as medic 11 said. its at the courthouse square in Indianola. larrys is good country type seafood place.

the big pieces of fried catfish at the varsity in Belzoni are good. its the only place ive found that does a good job cooking the whole length of the filet and getting it right. haven't been in allisons in a long time but it was always good years ago when we went.

hometown in inverness is pretty good too.
