Eat Less Move More

Postby ACEINTHEHOLE » Mon Apr 07, 2014 1:11 pm

Operation Eat Less Move More started today for me. Seems as though every single person in the world is now posting food pictures to Facebook!!! I think just knowing that you are trying to eat less and healthier instantly makes you hungry.

I'm in the same boat. I started a little over a year ago seriously trying to make some lifestyle changes and drop a few pounds. I've lost close to thirty using the Lose It app for iphone. I have about 5 pounds to go but have been struggling to stay on the wagon for the last several weeks. Eating right and getting even a little exercise is work. It takes more time to plan and prepare meals, it's more expensive, and finding time to exercise is nearly impossible!

healthy proportional meals 5-6 times a day = never hungry.
Some good advice to use when you start feeling hungry drink some water. A lot of times it will get you through until it's go time again.
Now cravings are another beast all together... mind over matter there.

Stick with it, get a solid mindset with a goal in mind as goals help you strive for something and also help by giving a sense of confidence as you reach each goal. Don't make the goals drastic though as sometimes that will end up discouraging you.

You got it...

I started my road to recovery today as well. Doing a 24 day Advocare challenge. I could stand to lose fat in the mid section but over all Im just wanting to feel better. Also going to start working out to tone up.
