Onward, Ms - info on the south delta

Postby Deadeye » Mon May 05, 2014 12:07 pm

I have rarely hunted ducks and deer in the south delta, I know a few of you who do. I have a chance to join a lease that's fairly close to South Delta Hunting Club and was just curious as to how the overall hunting is in a decent year. The place has plenty of history and ton of potential. Lot of CRP on it and around us so I figure the deer hunting will be good... same as ducks.

Anyway, just curious.

If this club is where they want to be...then you will be good.
Deer are always good in the South Delta.... Ducks are hit and miss.. If they are here everywhere will have them..if they are only here in small numbers..only some places will have them

Deer should be good if you have good neighbors. Ducks are hit and miss. Have to try it a year and see if you don't know anyone that has hunted there before.

If you decide to not get in or if they have another opening, send me some info on it. I'm looking for a club or lease in the south delta.
