Anyone got details. I have heard a ton of conflicting accounts. Sad situation as ol tank top Tate was a great guy. Bet he is crossfitting with the big guy as I type.

I haven't heaard the details or the conflicting reports for that matter, but seems very odd that he would hit the guard rail on such a straight levee without some type of influence (i.e; to avoid a vehicle or amimal).

I know he lived @ LC. Was he married with children or single?

Swerved to miss deer from what i understand, but guess there is no way of knowing without dead deer or someone seeing it.

man that sucks. Prayers for the family. I had a buddy clip a doe at 70 on his crotch rocket. Not sure how he is alive today as the bike ended up in pieces.

Yes he was going to open gym at 430 am. Don't bye the deer swerving etc on the dam at cAroline where the wreck was. There is a dip rt before where the wreck happened. He liked to go fast at times but it wasn't the first time he had done that routine. No witnesses so how do they assume he was dodging a deer?? Bad scene from what I was told so speed may have been an issue. He was a good guy and will be missed by many.

If he hit that dip going fast that could have thrown him into a front end wobble where the handlebars start slapping the gas tank. If he tried to stop/slow down then that would have caused him to lose control and hit guard rail. The only way to recover on a front end wobble is to go faster till it smoothed out and regain control. He could have freaked out. It happened to me a few times and it's scary!

I loved that guy. Great guy and a great friend. Always had a smile on his face
