Apparently, McDaniel claims to have enough invalid votes to overturn the election.

I'm with 4dawgma. Rarely do these things ACTUALLY change. Just another blip to feed the 24 hour news cycle.

If it is truly against the law, they'd have to throw out most elections in the Delta for the last 30 years. All of the local districts....the candidates run under the Democratic party. We all have to vote Democratic for local stuff, but vote Republican for state and federal elections. So, basically we are voting both parties when it's November.

not helpful... I really didn't want Cochran, but I'm ready to let this go and support him against a Democrat. Cochran will at least protect our right to bear arms, restrain taxes, and make sure the south is represented at the top table.

This is where open primaries will get you. Mississippi needs to fix it.

Open primaries aren't that big of an issue UNTIL, you have one of the other party end up in a runoff. There is absolutely no way for them to
know if a person that voted in the runoff will still support that candidate in the general election. BUT, if the democrats voted in the Democrat
primary and then crossed over and voted in the Republican Runoff, then there name is on record and that is against the law and can be proven.
