Over/under Bo Wallace picks this week

I have been a Rebel fan for 15 years. Coached a kid in HS that played while Eli was there. His Dad ,and I are best friends. I have kept my seats since he graduated.
For the life of me, I just don't get it. Lots of talent, seems like good receivers and still throwing it to the other guys. If I were Hugh, I would not even have a pass play in the game plan.
I looked up "interception" on Wikipedia and it had his photo on the top line.
I say 3 again this week and Ole Miss goes down by a FG. Hate to say it but another 7 win season coming up.

mike - have you seen vandy play?
i'll take the under on turnovers by bo & also take the rebels & the points.

however; if CHF doesn't have someone tutoring the veteran QB on passing fundamentals, he should have.
bo has a gunslinger mentality & a healthy arm this year & thinks he can thread the needle. not saying he can't, but he really needs to learn not to lock his eyes on the target & when to just throw the bal away.

Watch Bo closely. It's easy to fix..........he steps back and keeps his eye on the target he wants to throw to. It's rare in a game that he looks away from that target. On quick/short plays it doesn't matter as much. He also doesn't have the arm strength on longer passes. He makes stupid mistakes in a crunch. He's real good at the read option though.

I will give you my opinion as a State fan that doesn't care for Ole Miss one bit. I honestly believe Bo is Ole Miss’s crutch. Freeze should have been recruiting a replacement. Bo is an excellent athlete who shines at times but you can't have a top tier team that makes ignorant decisions like he does. And here is the kicker; you never know what Bo will show up for what game. Hell you don't know what Bo will look like from one quarter to the next in some games.

Freeze is the problem. A good head coach would have ditch Bo Dirt after last year.

You know, all this "Bo Bashing" by TSUN fans is doing this old Bulldawg's heart some good. Y'all are prejudging the entire season on an opener. UM is going to live or die on Bo Wallace this year, simply because they don't yet have the depth needed throughout their team. Depth will come. And as long as Bo can stay healthy, y'all will do ok. Not 10 - 2 ok; but if you are lucky, you'll go 8 - 4.

Y'all are hilarious. Nutt left Freeze with NOTHING in the way of the backfield. Freeze is a great coach. Freeze has recruited some very good qb's that are all young. He needed a decent fill in to get him thru the first couple of years until his recruits were up to snuff. Bo is that BandAid. Bo is very smart as far as running an offense.........and very fast.......just makes dumb throwing decisions when he's under pressure. No one denies that. Ole Miss is VERY deep at every position other than the offensive line. They're as good at starters on defense as any team. If the offensive line picks it up.......they'll win 10.........if not, it'll be 8 or 9. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Devante Kincaid start getting a lot of PT.

So what kinda odds will you give me on a bet that the 2015 UM qb isn't on the roster right now?

Seriously, UM is passing MSU by this year. All these top recruiting classes coming in should lead to a 9-10 win season, and that will just catapult them to greater things next year, as the coaches continue to develop this talent. Less than 9 wins is a disappointment this year and a solid staff should be able to develop such top ranked classes to a slam dunk conference title contender next year. The media seems to agree with me as they love them some UM nowadays.

That is true but since both forums have been completely slow it will at least make this one interesting.

While we are at it lets switch the topic a little. Why can't MSU recruit a dang kicker. With 5 freaking soccer clubs in the central MS area alone you would think they would figure out how important a position this is. Took Bobby Bowden a few NC losses to figure it out but he finally did, MSU can't learn from past mistakes.

I'm going to wait another couple games on this new fella. His miss was a bad snap.
