WMA Draw Hunts?

Hope you guys have better luck than I do with these things. I just checked my draw history. Out of the last 17 times I have applied for a draw hunt of some type I have only been drawn 3 times. Does that sounds about average? Do I need to donate more $$ or attend more public meetings?

I think they implemented to the draws to "help"...dont question it. "They" went to Grand Pass for crying out loud!

draw success went way down when they took the 5 dollar application fee away. also, draw hunt participants went way down (good for the standby/walkon's). no evidence other than i used to get drawn about 1/3 of the time and now it looks like this... 22-25 "did not win" since 2013
that is a combination of waterfowl, aligator, turkey and a couple deer (i think)

waterfowl draw at least has standby. I will cross my fingers for those when they open the drawing. But so far my deer draw applications get kicked to the curb.

and yet there are "regulars " that get drawn every yr ....this is is the first yr I have been drawn for anything since 2010...got Twin Oaks bow hunt ...I have yet to be drawn for gator hunt and this was 5th yr .... don't complain much bout those hunts though ,get to go a lot during the season with others.

getting drawn is for me is like finding a needle in a haystack. once they took the $5 app fee off more people were putting in for the draws.
