According to the OM faithful at the office this morning, it was just "bad officiating". I'm not sure they watched the same game I watched....

It was bad officiating. #10 came off the bench and threw a punch so they ejected the kicker. It was some of dirtiest displays I've ever seen on the field. I'm sure the Rebs on here will agree. After last week we know how they don't stand for dirty play.

I doubt there's any suspensions. NCAA rules state that any player that leaves the sidelines to go onto the field of play for a fight is automatically suspended for the following game. There were SEVERAL that left the bench. Golson threw a punch too.

there is no denying. there was bad officiating. i'm not sitting here sayinig that we did no wrong. when you have 7 personal foul penalties that speaks for itself. we had 7 memphis had 5. however to say there wasn't horrible officiating on both sides of the ball is absurd.

i.e. the unsportsman like conduct when coaches argue a bad call. (the forward pass in the redzone that was originally ruled a fumble. That was a $#!+ call, and the coaching staff made it known. they eventually reruled the call to be a forward pass.)

that being said we shot ourselves in the foot multiple times on long drives.
