Based on yesterday's performance maybe state and ole miss are co no 1's?
Either way it's either state or ole miss at 1 with the other at 2 or Florida state stays at 1 followed by both tied at 2. Ole miss was the best of the 2 yesterday in a very dominating mistake free game. Hope Bo and the defense can maintain that against auburn in a few weeks.

you may be right, but, MSU beat a #2 team and Ole Miss beat a #14. IMO it would be hard to keep them the same. Now maybe i fully dont understand it but isn't a #3 team supposed to beat the #14 team? some one splain this to me if I dont understand.

That said, as a state fan, I wish Ole Miss would be ranked #1 so that we weren't being gunned for every weekend. more to lose at that position

That's my guess as I don't think they will move FSU given that they haven't lost one yet. That being said, FSU or ND will have a loss after next weeks game regardless.

Like I said Fl. State till something else changes. State has much stronger rpi because of strength of schedule. State and Ole Miss will not remain tied. And Yes I do believe Baylor will be ranked over Ole Miss. Politics do play a role here! But seldom ever do you see a tie much less two weeks in a row. BTW where was any first place votes for Ole Miss last week? Even with an Alumni voting and you still didn't get one? What doe that say?

Well I'll be damned! Never thought Id get to see it though!

Espn at 730 tonight all 4 had msu and ole miss 1 and 2! Power rankings had them 1 and 2 as well.

Florida State is 4th best team in the SEC West and Notre Dame is 5th or 6th...Baylor could score and possibly out score and compete for top 3 spot in the West...but in the end for OM and MSU what does it matter, you both control your own destiny. 1, 2, 3, or 4 rankings are pretty much for fun at this point and being gunned for is a done deal irregardless of polls at this point too
