I got some cubes off amazon and like them. Did lots of research first.
1. get a brand named light. it seems that the lights without some brand on them, or said they were generic, had way more bad reviews. There are lots of brand names, but i went with one I could find contact info on the net for that brand (kawell).
2. pay attention to the lumens. if it doesn't list a lumen rating. don't get it.
3. make sure they say the light housing is waterproof. Some listings say waterproof, but are referring to the wire connector, not the light. If water gets in the light, she gone.
4. get as big as of one as you can.

Anyone make a cage or some sort of protective bracket to go around them, as I hunt a lot of timber and do not need them getting busted up.

Update.
Had these cubes on my truck for 3 months or so now, and they got water behind the lens. I have 4 of these. 2 on my Gator, 2 on my truck. Only one has had an issue.
But! I contacted the company, sent them a picture of the light, and asked what I could do about the water behind the lens. The light still works, and they are still shipping a replacement. I took the lens off and let it dry out. Still good to go. Great customer service. They are out of Seattle, WA.

These have the Cree LED's in them and are very bright. The Case place here sells them.
