Vacuum Sealer

Figured I would ask the brain trust. What's the best one? Don't want to spend a lot of money, less than $400, but don't want a piece of junk either.

If you upped that price to say $600, you could get you a vacuum chamber which will yield better results than the other style vacuum sealers. ARY VacMaster is a good one, but will run you in the $500+ to around mid-$600 depending how much you shop around.

First of all i dont know alot about vacuum sealers, so please dont hammer me on this response. My only experience is with one that my mom and dad bought at sams for less than two hundered dollars about 15 years ago. It does a great job for putting up garden vegtables. I have used it many times to put deer, duck, and fish in the freezer with exceptional results. I dont know what a more expensive model does that these cheaper models wont do but if you are looking for budget friendly check at sams.
