Where's the best place around Jackson to get these terrible spark plugs changed? I don't want someone to tell me the all broke and charge me $800 for it.

Thanks.

it wasn't that bad of a job. I did mine in about 2 hours taking my time to let penetrating oil seep in. Only broke one off but had called oReilly's prior to make sure they had the removal tool handy. cost me about 215 or so including the tool. most places will charge you around 800 and up.

Majority of places will charge that. Very little mechanical ability and you can do it. Do not force anything and take your time.
we have always done ours. Best thing to put them in with is a small tube that fits right ontop of the spark plugs. That way you dont strip them and get them in correctly.

Let me warm you and anyone else. If you break a plug like I did one time, you will be mote careful. Ran me about 1700 to fix that. Engine had to be dropped and taken apart almost to get it out. So we learned the hard way of doing it correctly.

Also whether you do it or have someone make sure the use the motorcraft SP515 when replacing. That's the updated plugs that correct the issue of them breaking in the head.

Not really. But if it saves me several hundred dollars, I can.

Its not that difficult. I have a guy here in town that is pretty reasonable. Mine were replaced, by a guy who is no longer in business and none of mine broke.

Give Darren's auto electric in brandon a call. They do great work. Don't know what it'll cost you though. Can't even begin to guess what the price will be.

You may want to check back with the Ford place :D It's 500 IF they don't break any... usually 100ish xtra per break.

That's the whole reason I ended up doing it myself.
