COLD!!!!!!

What you fellas seeing as far as migration numbers? I'm trying like crazy to get a buddy of mine to go hit a deep pocket of water in the woods in the morning. Hoping it's one of those mornings where birds pour in while you're standing in the dekes picking up birds!!!!!! :D :D

Some of our boys beat em up in N Delta today and I heard the river hunters were on em too. Wish I could take off tomorrow.....

3/4in ice. should have slept in or gone to the river.

Steering rod was locked up. Primer bulb valve fell out. I slipped on the boat ramp flat on my back. Motor would run then starve for fuel.

Saw 10 wood ducks at the boat ramp all morning. Not the morning I was hoping for. Going to thaw the boat out this afternoon in the garage with a propane space heater. Will try again.

At least I didn't have to watch mallards swarming the skies while soaked in gasoline at the boat ramp.

Well, yea. !BUT!, had I laid in bed it would have been open with 50-11 banded black ducks sitting on it.
Just should have gone to bigger water. There was lots of water open, relatively. We just went to the wrong place today.

I heard the same thing, no new birds have showed up at my little spot , not what i figured at all
