I love banded, mackspw and bass pro....
I get most of my gear from banded, except decoys I go to bass pro....

ah none of those places. Banded sucks Rogers and Dunns are the only place to order stuff from.

I absolutely loathe Bass Pro. With every fiber of my being.

1) They generally don't carry anything worth a crap.

2) If they do carry something decent, it's never in stock or the right size/color.

3) Always too many people there and the checkout lines are always a mile long.


I try to keep my business to local places if at all possible, mainly for any hunting accessory/clothing other that duck stuff.... mainly because there just aren't a whole lot of options around here (that I'm aware of). Van's in Brandon or Sports Center or Hadad's in Vicksburg get some of my business. But for the most part, if I'm looking for something in particular, none of those places have it, so I generally like to order from Mack's or Roger's. It's hard to beat Mack's shipping and customer service, I don't care what anyone says.

Local if possible. Cabelas Macks or Rogers online. Used to be a bass pro fan but too many foulups. Example - I got a BPS gift card in December, ordered a Mud River kennel cover - which I coulda got from Gun Dog Supply in Starkvegas - got my confirmation etc and then..... It ships direct from vendor. Duh roh. Bottom line, I still don't have it and not even an apology from Bass Pro. Lost my bidness there.

I buy from Rogers or Mack's a fair amount of the time. I always check wing supply and txfowlers.com for deals as well.

Forgot about Gun Dog Supply. I try to check their first for stuff for the pup. Have gotten a kennel cover, e-collar and several collars from there.

Rogers, Gun Dog Supply, Mack's, Cabelas. Sometimes Dunns when they have shells on sale.

You know, I honestly think you could still get a leisure suit and patent leather shoes - with matching belt, I might add - at that place.

Years ago, Mack's couldn't get anything right. But they have stepped up their game. Also due to their proximity to Mephis, they fed-ex product faster than advertised most times. I like Rogers too, but their shipping isn't as fast.
I wish I could shop local, but there is nothing near me.
