Yep, I & many others say the same thing. The front screams ford.
Me thinks some Ford designers jumped ship and landed on ours.

Re: White Space
So it's an F150, fenders off a Raptor, with a Super-Duty hood? IE: It's a good looking truck. I'm sure it'll be a good truck, just like it's predecessor. The 5.0L Cummins V8 Diesel is interesting. I'd love to get back in a diesel if diesel wasn't almost double the price of regular. In Memphis yesterday I saw $1.75/Gal regular, and $3.00/gal diesel. So unless fuel economy is about 70% better than the gas V8, and initial investment being about equal, it's a tough sell for me.
Also, how short is the CEO of Nissan. It looked like he barely came up to the top of the tailgate.

Re: White Space
It is a good looking truck for sure, even more impressive in person. We're excited about the turbo diesel & the MPG will be better than the current gas burner (which sucks), with more HP, Torque, Towing & Payload. The truck was obviously developed before gas went down, but if the prices hold steady, I agree that the diesel engine will not be the driving factor for buyers. The good thing is that we are launching several other versions of this "150 plus", "XD", "heavy half" or whatever we are calling it now 3 months after the diesel launch so stay tuned for that.duramax wrote:So it's an F150, fenders off a Raptor, with a Super-Duty hood? Mr. Ghosn is a small man in stature, but this truck is still big! He travels with an entourage & is treated like a King everywhere he goes so I'm sure he feels taller than he really is
