They don't have a lot of competition so they can pretty much do whatever they want.

They tore down a retaining wall at my house on Dec 9 while working on some stuff at my neighbors house. I have been trying to get them to come out and fix it and reimburse me for the temp fix I have done since then. I doubt they are ever going to do anything about it unless I get a lawyer.

Consistently rated worse than the IRS in consumer satisfaction surveys. THAT is talent.

They point blank don't care about anybody or anything. It will take a mean lawyer for you to get any restitution out of those sob's. I am amazed that their building on I-55 hasn't been burned down by an irate customer yet.

(I mean, think about it. If someone DID burn it down, AND they caught the guy who did it. Who'd convict him? A large part of the jury pool would be pizzed off cable customers.)

You don't need a lawyer for that. Send a certified letter giving them 30 days to fix it. If they don't, take them to justice court. Take pictures of everything. The only issue is....was it in their easement? If so, you may be SOL.

You would think with satellite and uverse cutting into their business that cable companies would be getting better not worse. Down here it is cable one and they are a joke.

No they didn't have to do anything with the wall. They had someone with little to no experience with a miniex trying to dig a hole 5 feet away and he ended up running over the wall and knocking about 20 feet of it down. It's just a crosstie retaining wall but it HAD anchors into the ground and into the hill before it was disturbed. Now it is just stacked up crossties that my 4 year old can kick over. The crappy thing is they broke up most of the ties when the hit it and now when they replace whats broke it won't match. Only way to make it look right would be to replace the entire 80ft wall which they won't do I am sure. It will end up with 60 feet of weathered ties and 20 feet of new ones.

There are very very few things I hate worse than Comcast. I wish that whole crew would burn in vat of peanut oil for eternity.
