Im looking at getting one and looking for suggestions on which kit.........surely some of yall has some input on this. 6.5 horsepower

Got this kit from a guy in Memphis that hunts down at Beaver Dam. Hopped the motor up, run it on race gas and it'll haul tail with most surface drives...

Get the backwater inc. glider kit. Backwater makes imo, the best longtail on the market, and their CS is awesome.

Not yet - I come out heavy way to often!!
Not building from the lawn mower - I got it back going
I tore down an old generator and plan on using it. 5.5 HP will go on a 14' oldschool starcraft pointed v-nose johnboat.
Backwater Inc. is the way to go if you are wanting a kit.
I just build my own kit.

your going to run through aluminum props so fast it will make your head spin. those shafts aren't stout enough to dig with either.
