Any hunt tests coming up within a reasonable distance of Jackson? Didn't see any on huntsecretary coming up. Never played the HT game and want to go spend a day observing to see what to expect. I'm assuming observing isn't frowned upon.

Also Clark Kennington is putting on a seminar on March 28 at his place in Grenada for newbie handlers. It's free and Clark's a good teacher. Check on Southern Flight HRC facebook page or website, or there's a new thread here about it.

Southern Flight HRC hunt test will be in Grenada the weekend of March 21/22. Specktaters are more than welcome. If you'd like a some info beforehand on how things work, you can email me at getalab at gmail dot com. Also, I'm sure we can pair you up with a club member at the test who'd be willing to show you around each test site and answer questions.

Pontchartrain HRC will have their HRC hunt on Mar 14-15 in the Bonnet Carre' Spillway in Norco LA. About 2 hr ride South on 55

Will probably come up to Grenada for the HT. Would be good to put some faces with some screen names. I need to go replace some pipes at our cabin up there too. Might go back up the for seminar too if the crappie are biting.

Are the ponds just off the north end of the dam? Looks like 8 ponds together.

Yes, that is where headquarters will be. If you get there early enough (before 7:30 or so) ask for me (Chris Powell). I will be glad to talk with you some and help you figure out what levels you would like to watch and where they will be. If I'm already gone the ladies at headquarters (Cris and Jan) will be able to help you also.
