Ask Duck South: Shingle / Roof Costs

I know there are many factors....and "it depends"......what are the general labor costs to install shingles? New construction, no removal of old shingles.......labor cost / square or SF?

$45-$65 a square depending on pitch and complexity in this area. P.M. me if you want a good roofers contact info.

$45-$65/sqft for a roof? Holy $#!+
After a google search I see the term "square" in the roofing bizz is equal to a 100 sqft. Makes more sense now

$35 a sq in Jackson tri-cty area. $65 crazy.

$35-40 a square......no way you should pay $65 a square for new construction

It's $40-45 around here......but there's a couple of idiots charging $100.........or at least idiots paying a couple roofers $100/sq.
