Anyone eaten dinner at Onward Store lately? Any good?

Sam we go over every couple of weeks. The steaks are consistently good and the fried okra is the "Best" I've ever had. IMHO its as good if not better than most any meals you can get in the Jackson area.

Have had lunch there a few times and it is always good. I can attest that the fried bologna and hoop cheese sandwiches from there are on point also.

Very good. Lunch is good too. I dont think you'd be disappointed.

Onion rings were great, chicken and biscuits good, country fried steak was tough as shoe leather (maybe an off night?). I've had good service, but have heard mixed reviews from other folks. Worth the short drive from vicksburg to check it out.

ate there last weekend in may. had fish and a buddy had a steak. as mentioned onion rings were on point as well.

Bring back da "Pig Pie"....

I agree with everyone else food was good and worth the drive. Always had good service but did take awhile at supper but well worth it.

I eat there a decent amount during hunting season. Lunch is excellent but Supper has always been lacking in quantity and quality.
