Gators surprise everybody by winnning East (now that Ole Miss is off their schedule)...East gets clobbered again by West in Title Game...

NATL CHAMPS

Oklahoma Sooners, hands down the best team in college football...Beat the snot out of LSU in title game rematch...LSU was better last year but not this year...

How you figure Ole Miss will go 9-2 if they couldn't do it with Manning?

You're surely not going to with Spurlock.......and especially not since your entire backfield is looking at jail time at this time....

State will win 5 if they are lucky enough.

i agree with g22. you could't win with your "savior" with a backfield that was in blue. how are going to win 9 with a rookie qb and a backfield dressed in orange jumpsuits.

you're right lsu will roll with the west but will get smoked in the sec champ game by georgia.

i hate to say it but it will be a miracle if state wins five g22.

SEC West - LSU will re-enact Custer's last stand at Little Big Horn. The part of the Sioux will be played by LSU.

SEC East - I'm going to go with Georgia on this one. They've stayed pretty strong and Florida has kind of backslidden with Zook. Look for Spurrier to attempt a comeback to college ball sometime in the future.

SEC CHAMP - as bad as I hate to admit it, I say it's LSU again.

Nat. Champ. - Who knows!?!??!?! LSU surprised the heck out of me last year, but I doubt they'll get that close again....they MIGHT, but I doubt it. Look for someone like Miami, Oklahoma, or the Buckeyes. I think the guys in So. Cal. are in for a rude awakening this year.


Apologies to Southern Miss. people; I forgot to include them! They should have an interesting season! I'm looking forward to seeing what happens between them, Louisville, and Memphica.

Jeez, Hammer - I'm a Rebel and I can't for the life of me see the Rebels going 9-2 this year. Road games at LSU, Arkansas and Bama (who we haven't beaten in Tuscaloosa in about 900 years). Picking up Tennessee. Add a pissed-off Auburn team to the mix as well.

Best case scenario is 8-3. Realistic is 7-4. Worst case is 5-6. I'm thinking 7-4 with another trip to Nashville.

State will win egg bowl, nothing else matters!!!

State will not, as much as I would like them to. Don't take nothin for granted state, Maine was the #1Div. 1AA team, not so much of a gimme anymore huh?

LSU will repeat as SEC champs. Arkansas 2nd in the west.
Who knows in the east, but not Vandy or Kentucky.

Texas is overated as they are every year. They start out in the top 5 then lose 2 or three and everyone wonders why. OK can be in the running any year. We'll have to wait till November to see who the sleepers are. Love to see the SEC bring back a national title.

Spurlock only needs 2,300 more yards, to become the SECs leading rusher !

Just glad that BAMA will be bowl eligible, not that we will be a shoe in for one or anything. Still have a few (if not more) tough years ahead! I'll wait til' the end of summer for any other predictions.
