Would car full of boys have a good chance at seeing some successful alligator hunters returning to the boat ramp on Highway 43 tonight? The later the better or any thought on time? Thanks.

Had a GW tell me once you need to have the $25 helper permit to even take a picture with one. That's a true story. I wouldn't risk it.

Doubt just a pic will require the permit unless it's a pic of you in the boat etc with it. I know a few that got in a ton of trouble posting pics on Facebook etc and they didn't have the permit. They turned 25 dollars into thousands over that permit. But they also claimed to be part of the hunting party.

Most of the people that hunted on the Rez were out there well past midnight. And there were a crap ton of them out there. I have grown to completely hate LED lights on the front of a boat from all of the ones roaming the river this weekend. A couple of headlight sized LEDs are OK but damn when you have three 6' LED bars on the front that's just too damn much!

I got a new mud boat for work and it came with two square LED's. It's like turning on the sun. I feel so sorry for folks that I turn em off about a hundred yards out and coast on up to em with my flashlight.
