Exactly Rebel!!!
Its all about saying what you want to hear. I know that this belongs on the politics baord but I gotta chime in. Last night Edwards said that right now there is two Americas. A rich and a poor. He then went on to say that if the Democrats are elected there will be one America,

Yeah thats right the America were the guy who works everyday gives his money to the poor to make one big utopia. You know they got a name for that belief: it's called SOCIALISM  . You know what I am going to stop right now.

And Micheal Moore, that MORON  Never mind I'm done.

One more thing, I am out of here in 3 weeks headed to Camp Shelby and then on to Iraq.

On the morning of opening day I am going to walk outside of my tent and say a prayer to the good lord (yes, Democratic party that is Jesus) that my brothers back home have wonderful season and pop a few for me.

Oh yeah and if the rumors are true that the 155 will be in Iraq by thanksgiving then I am going to find Drakeshead (he is in communications) and see if there is some way we can wire a satellite to watch State spank Ole Piss. :D :D

he never did say exactly what he has voted for in his term as senator, when he WAS their. he only shows up a 1/3 of the time. :?:
they know they don't have to worry about a terrorist attack at this convention. al-quaida probably had security in place themselves, we all know they want kerry in office.

kerry might be osamas man but bush is mine.

I still think we need a season on liberals! Does anyone actually believe what these morons say? How damn stupid do you have to be? I'm sure that if the liberals started a line for redistribution of wealth that they want, then Kerry would be the first in line--shoot he only has like four homes plus his bimbo wife's fortune! I'm sure he wouldn't mind giving all of us about 3/4 of million each so that we could all be "equal". Then we could all send flowers to the militants and Osama and then the entire world could get together and hug a tree while Michael Moore films it. Ahh, what a beautiful thought--HORSE S**T!!!

Sorry. A little pent up frustration. I feel better now.

God bless our troops, our President and the USA.

funny how kerry claims he'll raise the technology and equipment available to the armed forces, yet he voted against increasing the forces budget. funny how things like that work..... all depends on who you got on the hook, and who you want to impress. we need to bring back doctors and medicine, and how do we do that, we hire up a liability attorney as his running mate..... what a minute? isn't that what the doctors are trying to fight? isn't that why insurance has risen and the cost of health care has risen; as a result of no-cap attorneys. bush makes a move to cap these things until we find a better solution (aka everyone is equal with equal settlements and the attorney doesn't make his fortune), costs can now come down, yet he's supposed to be trying to split America? ha, yeah right. bush may not be perfect, as i don't agree with all that he's done, but he has done one very important thing.... he sticks to his guns when he says something.

I have read Mr. Kerry's book...nearly puked several times, but I finished it.

Either he was lying then; or, he's lying now. Either way, he's a liar!

I had made up my mind to watch his speech last night. I really was trying to see if I have just totally gone over the edge and let my sensibilities about his past behaviors prejudice my opinion beyond reason. Then...the SOB gets up there, salutes, and reports for duty! Dear God, I lost it! I am so glad I did not have a weapon at the time, or I would have killed my tv!

The bad news is, he has a real chance to win based on the liberal backlash about Iraq. I don't give a rat's butt about his "medals." I know the truth about his medals and what he did with them when he came home! The reason he was able to throw them away (or pretend to) is because they were cheap to him and had no meaning. I don't care about his voting record in Congress; I care about his heart and conscience...he doesn't have either! I don't care about his stance on contoversial issues; I care about what America means to this man! It means so little that he is willing to throw away the best part of the American Dream and replace it with a cheap imitation tht is not based on the "pursuit of happiness" but the failed myth of socialistic equality.

If there are those who believe George Bush is dangerous, and I am really no huge fan, you better get informed about John Kerry in a hurry! There have been few times when I have seen the American Dream so close to the precipice. If you think we have been close to the debauchery of the Roman Empire before, John Kerry can make Nero look like a Boy Scout! If you think the fabric of American society has some serious tears in it now, John Kerry has a brand new suit in mind!

And, I don't even like politics!

Benny, I appreciate your thoughtful opinion about Kerry but I am worried that your impression that Edwards is a champion of the little guy against HMO's is mistaken. This is the story that Edwards has put out in the campaign but in reality he made his fortune suing obstetricians for babies born with cerebral palsey-not HMO's. In these cases he used junk science and hired gun experts to claim that negligent deliveries caused the CP when the medical evidence points to an earlier intrauterine event as the cause of CP. The thought of this guy one heartbeat away from the presidency makes me ill.

Benny wrote:I'd also like to see Edwards support tort reform

i know you were joking on that one benny. i bet he would except for the fact that fox news would have a field day with that.

remember the time that strom thurmond said he favored term limits? i thought they were gonna have to wait three years after he was dead to remove him from the senate.

Well hell fall over and faint I cant believe I am actually going to agree with Benny. The country needs tort reform, however with the most liberal ticket the Democrats have ever had (Note: J Kerry's voting record more liberal than Hillary) I just dont think we'll be seeing it from the Democrats. Tort refrom could help straighten this high cost of medicine and insurance out in no time flat. Tort reform makes since, but it will not help the Democrat's agenda: which is government controlled medicine.
The State of MS is a prime example why tort reform needs help from the Feds.

The good thing about all this is that with all the problems with our system it is still the best system in the world.
