these aren't"kids" dying, their soldiers, sailors , and airmen. when you sign your name on the dotted line and take the oath of the US Military you aren't a kid anymore you stupid fk. when i enlisted in '86 i became a man at 17. no more mommy and daddy. when i completed bootcamp i just proved it. when you put your name on that line you make an agreement with uncle sam. you agree to be all you can and to do your best while going through training. you make a trade off. you provide me with the best training in the world, i will put that to use my 6 yrs. and when i've completed my enlistment i'm going to put that training to use in the civilian world where i can make a living. if in the course of my enlistment we should be called to war for whatever reason congress see's fit then i agree in return to fight to the best of my ability. it's not in my job description to die for my country, it's my job to make the other guy die for his. i also understood that people would be trying to kill me back. i understood this and agreed to it.

i would rather have died for the liberation of a country than die being a decoy to get the press off my back because i shot a load on some bimbos chest.

Heard a GOP strategist comment that Bush was starting to change his stance concerning brain stem research. Guess that's gonna make him what conservatives call a "flip flopper" huh? Politics has got to be the dirtiest game in town but millions spend countless hours watching talking heads doing nothing more than reafirming their beliefs. If you ask me their time would be better spent watching re runs of Happy Days.

I will pray for you Benny. I do not condone the Killing of anyone, but in a situation as this one what do you do? Do you just let it ride or do you fight back like we have done. I believe you have to have balls to do what GW did. Maybe one day when your president we will see what you would do. There will always be someone opposing what any president does. As for the weekend warrior thing, I do work during the week therefore I can not hunt everyday like I did in college. I cherish every single moment spent outdoors. One day when I'm able to retire I will be back in the woods everyday, until then I will sieze every moment I can to go hunting.
