Just got in, shells were here...........too bad they were all wrong cases...

Order 3.5's with 1 9/16 oz of shot............get 1 3/8 oz........

If I had wanted 1 3/8 I would've ordered 3"...... :x

Called them to report it..........was told to call back Monday........no one there could fix it...

Hey......'you remember what I told you about "what goes around comes around"? Well....'looks like the double-dip on the 'at the counter' rebate on Federal shells you took advantage of last year, may be coming back to haunt you.

'You think Simmons' can screw-up an order....you oughta try ordering from Mack's. You'll talk to 3 different people and get 3 different answers about what's in stock. Just call'em and ask if they have any 16ga Bismith in 25/box......one person will tell you they don't have any 16ga bismith, another will tell all they have is 10/ box, and another will tell you Federal doesn't make those, any more.

GH22, you've actually been sent a better shell than the 3" version. The 3 & 1/2 ounce and 3/8 should be much faster than the factory 3 inch version. Also, the 3 & 1/2 inch ounce and 9/16 is probably one of the slowest steel load available today. At least is was the last time I checked velocities for factory shells.

Might explain why you miss so much.

But if you're so insistent, I might be able to take them off of your hands for you. That is of course minus your penance for that rebate "screw job" you pulled last year.

Yeah, what Wildfowler said..I'll take some of 'em myself..

Don't forget depreciation, they're not "new" anymore.

I don't care about speed......speed don't mean jack when you know how to shoot. Need more speed.....need more speed........blah blah blah

When I order a certain type of shell........I want the maximum dram eq. and oz. load available. Any 2 3/4's I buy will have 1 1/4 oz of shot with 3 3/4 drams of powder.......same as 3" with 1 3/8 and 3 1/2's with 1 9/16.

I paid for the max powder and shot.......dad gummit I want it......

It's a suped up 3" shell.........I don't want that..........that's why I went to the 3.5's to get more shot.....

Ain't got nothing with me screwing federal last yr out of some more money.....hell they add $10 per box to make their killing........just was able to get a little bit of that back.......and since they were stupid enough to let it happen.....why not take advantage of it.........ya think I was the only one to pull that trick.......not......

$130 per case Wildfowler.......that's what I paid for them. And I have the rebates form to go with them for $20 each.

If you decoyed birds the right way and finished them before you pulled the trigger you wouldn't need the heavy artillery. :P

Well, I've seen you shoot.....that's all I'm going to say about that.

Seriously, Jeff  .......... what choke and shot size do you use with those 1-9/16 oz loads? Just curious. (This isn't a 'set-up').....I'm just trying to follow your logic with all this shot stuff.

You and me gonna have to have a little talk about that......not here, though. I wanna get you off somewhere....where I can knock a knot on yo thick head. :? When you comin' to Starkvegas again?

I use imp cyl when ducks are in close.........mod when they get out farther and become decoy shy.

Steel shot has always been cheaper to make that lead.......just because it's duck hunting they double the price for it....

I'm not going to change my mind when going to a lighter load shell......if I want 1 3/8 oz loads.......I'll shoot 3's......why shoot 3.5's with the same load and pay $20+ more for them???

I've been brought up to shoot the max loads and will continue to do so cuz they work........period.

I shoot doves with 3 3/4 dr 1 1/4 oz......most would say that's overkill......mainly the one's in the dove field with me.........but how come I'm the first one.......day in........day out.......to limit.......while no one else does shooting the wally world specials.....

I dunno when I'm gonna be back in starkvegas.......but you and I know ya ain't changing my mindset......

Oh I wasn't gonna talk to you about the 'loads and chokes' thing........you shoot what you want to. Even I had to experiement with stuff before I found what worked for me.

I was mainly worried that since you screwed Federal (and don't seem to think you did anything wrong, just 'cause they "let you"), then I'm thinking I probably shouldn't leave any of my guns in the rack out at the gun club when you're around. :? That's all.

.......and on a side-note (purely for fun)........
but how come I'm the first one.......day in........day out.......to limit.......while no one else does shooting the wally world specials.....

Could it be, that those are the days when you're hunting by yourself?
