Does anyone have experience with the cell signal boosters? We are thinking about getting one at camp and didn't know if they worked.

Look up the Uniden boosters. I have one and it works great. They have very good customer support and won't sell you one if they don't think it will work in your location.

As long as you have some usable signal they work.


Wilson is another brand to check out. I couldn't possibly tell you what model we have but it works.

I have a Wilson in my home and it works great.

If you cant talk at all now the booster will not help much if any.

That's not necessarily true. You do have to have some signal, but if you have any minimal signal whatsoever, they amplify it and work well. So, even if you have calls going in and out, i've seen it amplify up to 3 or 4 bars.

The Wilson boosters work. I've used the single phone booster and the building booster. If showing no service, it'll give you enough service to use your phone.
