Black bellied whistling duck

My buddy saw some of these tday while bream fishing at the reservoir. He said they were really neat looking. I've never seen any.

Ride around the south Delta this time of year. They move in and stay the summer. They next in duck boxes at Yazoo Refuge.

I saw probably 5 or 6 dozen of them last week in one pond. There are tons of them here right now. But they will be gone come the first cold snap.

That's funny you bring this up today. I saw two of them coming in for a landing while I was crossing the bridge at Belzoni.
They've got some long necks on them.

They stand on top of the grain elevators at Farmer's Grain in Belzoni.

Yep, I ran around a lake in a park my daughter was playing soccer at recently and they were everywhere.

Lafreniere park? I was down there earlier this year for the girls soccer too. They are thick down there. Cool looking ducks, would love to see some while hunting.

Yep, I saw a huge nutria rat also. He wasn't afraid of people, just sat there next to the bank.

I've been taking a scenic tour of most of the soccer complexes in the southeast for about 3 years now. We've probably been in the same place several times. What clubs are yall's girls with? Mine plays with Alliance Futbal Club in Meridian.
