He nailed it on open water gadwalls! That episode and the last one with GH22 and gulfcoast are two that should be pinned at the top. There are some golden nuggets of duck killing knowledge in there.Duck Engr wrote:Not in this podcast, but in the one with Mr. Pat and Bill talking about reading and calling ducks, I about fell out of my chair laughing when Mr Pat talked about his disdain for gadwalls and how guys would shuck shells to put missiles in when they start working. The highlight was his line talking about the guy punching them in the face to inflict a little more pain when he gets one in the blind.
