I started my dog last week on Diamond Food and she has developed dandruff was curious could this be an allergy or what would cause this, also has anyoine else noticed this since feeding diamond?

What were you feeding?
Some foods just don't have the oils, vitamins, and minerals that the "top" foods do. This can be a reason.

Here is what I would do. Switch back slowly, over about a week. Mixing the eukanuba in with the diamond more and more untill the diamond is gone (no hurry, just when you start run low). Just see if it goes away when you switch foods.
In the maen time, use a medicated shampoo. A sulfonimide (Selsan Blue, head and sholders, or sulfoxidex) or an oatmeal based shampoo is fine.

I have fed diamond professional for about six months now and have not had any problems as of yet.

I am not downing Diamond at all. I just suggested switching back to see if if cleared up.
Diamond just may not have something in it that his dog needs.

Add a little vegetable oil to the food. My chocolate has the same problem especially in the winter, and my vet told me the veggie oil would work. It does. Just a little on top of the food at each feeding.

ask your vet about the missing link, great stuff for your dog's coat and skin, it will last about 90 days giving them a table spoon a day and you can sure tell the difference
