* MSDUCKS TEAL SHOOT Revisited *

Postby Double R 2 » Fri Aug 13, 2004 8:21 am

Am hosting a MSDUCKS bluewing hunt Wednesday, September 22. As discussed previously, the hunt will acoomodate about a dozen people.

Have sufficient bunk space to accomodate about a dozen hunters. We'll fire up the grill Tuesday night and everyone bring their own steak or whatever they want to throw on for themselves or others. Dinner and social. Webfoot suggested he might fry fish. Will draw for groups of 4 or or so and head to the blinds before daylight, finish up about 8 or 9. Will need some folks to bring a few 4 wheelers make sure we can get everyone to the blind and walkie talkies so we can stay in communication.

Cost will be $25. In addition, hat will be passed for donation to DuckSouth website. If Rip makes it, he's volunteered to hold everybody and shake them till the money quits falling.

We need to clear the "maybes" and make room for those that definitely want in. If you know now that you can't make it, speak up. If you want to get in line, holler out. Everyone that's ever hunted teal knows that they may or may not be here in goo dnumbers, just depends on the fronts, but we've had pretty good luck in the past. If it's like any other MSDUCKS get together I've been to, it'll be a good time regardless.

Well, I will not be able to make it. I have too much going on with work that week. :( I hate that I will not be able to make it. Someone else can have my spot!
I love to watch the ducks circle and the dogs work.

RR... where is your place?
Sometimes you just have to close your eyes, count to ten, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you wouldn't look good in prison stripes... and just smile at that dumbass and walk away.

Merenisco will have to bring you down later in the year DUforester! You'll be practiced up from your October trip to Alberta by then anyways!
