I need to get access to the Big River or Yazoo north of Vicksburg, Just checking to see if yall know of anybody that can help me.

how far north of Vburg? you can put in the Yazoo in Redwood, under the Yazoo River Bridge.

is there a landing under the bridge good enough to back a boat

Man there are landings scatered around the entire river and I'm sure one of them will work...I just ain't going to put it on the board because that's sensitive info for some of us. Get a Corps map or e-mail me I might be able to help a little. [img]images/smiles/icon_cool.gif[/img]

Pintail, if you want in the big river up north try chotard landing if the water is high enough to get out like it is now but I've never put out below the yazoo, we just left from the v'burg waterfront landing.

Take Hwy 61N pass the Redwood Exit go over the bridge and there is a landing on the left. Never used it but it looks good.
