Thought for awhile this morinng i was going to have to borrow someones recipe for shovelers as i had a few thousand out front of my decoys, but when the wind shifted about 9:30 this morning Mallards started dropping from the sky and into my decoys. Ended up with 4 greenheads and 2 shoveler drakes. Saw lots of new ducks arriving with the storm front this morning, especially some big flights of pintails.

Hey Army, i had a similar morning. Glad you got some time off to kill a few. I am in the Army myself, sort of, if you consider the Guard the Army. My family is from Vicksburg: Halpin, Brabston, McLeskey, Tucker, any of these names ring a bell? Well congrats on a good hunt, i worked my booty of for my limit. Hooaah! 8)

I hear you. I will be going active as soon as i get out of school. I am in Rotc and have been enlisted for 4 years. I joined Rotc at the wrong time. I signed up last January, and we got the alret in march. Rotc and the Guard got into a pissing contest over me and a few other guys and well, Rotc won. Like i told a buddy of mine, "Look, i can only do the same as you can, go where they tell me to." Hell, i am sure to be sent over in the next year or so once i comission. No, sorry i do not know anyone by that name. I do know a Nick Saucier though. By the way, what do you do in the Army? As you can guess by my signature i am a 19kilo. Hey, kill a bunch in the morning, i am.
