Thanks for the hospitality!!

I came down and hunted near Marks on a friends lease 1/20 through 1/23. Everyone that we met has very hospitable and we had a great time despite the lack of ducks.

His lease had good numbers of ducks right before we came down but the water dropped out and the birds left when we arrived. Of course they also killed limits the last day of the season, after we had left...typical :roll:

Thanks to everyone who responded to my posts for more info on water levels in the area.

We'll get a good season down there one of these years. We just need to hope for wet weather in the breeding grounds and blizzards and clippers in December. Anticipation is half the fun anyway.

Glad you had a good time despite the lack of ducks. That is how it has been all season, and when you did have ducks they were hard as hel! to kill.
