Ellis to declare for draft.........

Point guard Ellis will declare for NBA draftESPN.com
Lanier (Miss.) High School point guard Monta Ellis will declare for the NBA draft instead of attending Mississippi State, ESPN.com's Andy Katz reports.
Ellis is the third high school player to declare for the draft, joining Gerald Green and Andray Blatche.
He won't see the 1st round.

chit boyz its safe to say that state college will not be goin back to the ncaa toruney...
lets speculate on a starting lineup (assuming everyone leaves)
jamal edmonson, slater. morgan. one of the delks and goodridge.. is that right???? hell i don't have a clue but we're gonna be young for sure...

This post in no way changes my thoughts on basketball and its stupidity; I still think it should be banned from all SEC schools except Kentucky. All basketball scholarships should be given to the women's soccer team.

Well I think they should do away with ever women's sport at universities except for basketball and tennis, and take all other available scholarships and give them to the baseball players.
Softball players each get a full scholly.....why can't the baseball players?
40 players, 11.7 scholly's.........that bs.

Really? That's forward thinking. It's like Title IX never happened.
Tell you what, lets take all the scholarships from basketball, a worthless sport, and give them to the baseball team, a not so worthless sport. We can debate what sport is best all day long, but the gender question has been answered for a while now.
