I don't have a ton of time on my hands as more than likely is the case for most of us. I was wondering how difficult it is to start up a new club, or even is there is enough interest. How many members would it take to have a functionable club? Maybe the OVPC would be a good place to meet and discuss with whom might be interested. There may be a good reason there is not one, just tossing up ideas. I want to atleast have some people to simulate hunt test with on a weekend from time to time. Anyone got any thoughts let um rip.

Most of us in Jackson are members of West MS HRC based in Vicksburg. We got it up and running about a year ago and have training days once a month (fixing to step it up to 2). There is a pretty big base of guys in Jackson/Brandon and a little bit south that train consistently. We would be happy to have you.

Yeah faithful we 'd love to have to join us. As huckle said there is a big base from the Jackson metro area in the Club.

Would be interested in hearing a little more about it. Have a few buddys that were talking bout the club in Hattiesburg got me interested. I filled out my hrc application bout a month ago but haven't heard anything.

Well first of all the South MS ( Hatiesburg) is a good club. I don't think they are as active as West MS as for training days and we are not 2hrs away.Even if West Ms is not having an official training day some of the members are getting together somewhere. We have a great bunch of guys with alot of knowledge for you and your dog. You should try and come to a training day and meet some of us. We will be having our days on the 1st Sat and 3rd Sun of each mth location TBA.We keep things posted here on this site. Speaking of which this site really reformed this club.Look forward to meeting ya.
