The second and third games each day will begin 30 minutes following the previous game, but no earlier than the designated start time.

TIE-BREAKERS

* By virtue of beating Ole Miss 2 out of 3 times during the regular season, LSU is awarded the No. 2 Seed as Western Division Champions.
* Since Auburn, Arkansas and Vanderbilt did not all play each other during the regular season, the three-way tie for the eighth and final spot in Hoover was broken by comparing their records versus tournament seeds 1-8, until finding a common opponent. All three teams played Florida, the tournament's No. 1 Seed. Arkansas beat Florida twice, while Auburn and Vanderbilt were both swept by the Gators, giving the Razorbacks the No. 8 Seed.
* Seeding is based on winning percentage of each team.

The fist game MSU v.s. LSU could be a good game as you all gave us all we could handle and a little more this past weekend. It's tournament time, it's crunch time now and big time crunch time starting in two weeks.

To be honest there was no reason for us not to sweep LSU this weekend. Five unearned runs friday night when state had the game sealed. Back to back to back inn today with runners in scoring position, 0 runs.

I thought you said you didn't keep up with baseball......guess ya lied didn't ya?

In a way I'm glad we lost today, Ole Miss couldn't be SEC West champs.....even though they'll claim co-champs like the football deal.

we were given a trophy by the SEC..... just like we'll be given one by the SEC for this........ just like LSU has a banner that says 2002 SEC western Division champs, even though arkansas beat them and went to atlanta......

when was the last time yall won the egg bowl ?

like i told you last night jeff, i don't necessarily agree with it... that's why i put the piece in there about LSU's banner when they lost to arky. If you lose to the other "co" champion, then.. well.. how can you really consider yourself "co"champions, but.. i don't make the rules. I was just saying why there is a banner hanging, and we were given a trophy by the SEC for the 2003 season, and as of last night SEC sports.com had us listed as co-champions with LSU.....

Saw where Ole Miss was #2 in the RPI standings. They may get one of the first 8 regionals giving them the chance at a super regional. Of course, you have to win a game in the post season in order to do that..... It is either choke time or payoff time.

UM's RPI ranking is a joke, honestly. I don't know how they factor that rpi, but I put UM's schedule up against MSU's and to me MSU had the tougher schedule, but losing to the better teams like MSU did knocked their RPI down.

UM will go 2 and out in the sec tourney like always, and then 2 and out when they ncaa stupidly lets them host a regional like last yr.

So I guess State is going to run the table. No since in hating Ole Miss that bad. Those were all facts. The bad thing is State got into the tourny losing two out of three. I know they should have won all three but they did not. Po Monkey Lounger and RebelYelp are just speaking the truth. And by the way the RPI however it is figured is decided at the beginning of the year. They dont wait until the end to decide the factors in determining it.
