The Road to Omaha will end with these 8 competing in the CWS:

1. Tulane
2. Southern Cal
3. Texas
4. TCU
5. Tennessee
6. Florida
7. Cal St. Fullerton
8. Last and not least, the mighty dogs of MSU

(probably will not happen but they are my pick)

It's way too early to start making picks. State will have to get through Miami and their one pitcher, then face a Nebraska team that might have the best rotation in the nation.

1. Tulane
2. Long Beach State
3. Ole Miss
4. College of Charleston
5. Tennessee
6. Florida
7. Coastal Carolina
8. Nebraska

I believe to that Nebraska has got the best rotation in the country. However if State pitchers keep up what they started last week, they could get through the regional to face a tough Nebraska team. Which then it will take two outstanding pitching performances by State. Ole Miss, if they get out of their regional have a much easier super than I believe State will end up with. But there is alot of baseball to be played this weekend.

bigwater, we won't see Fla Atl's ace. They are going with their #2 guy, a lefty. He's been up and down all season, not much consistency.

Ole Miss will not beat Texas. Texas got hosed on the national seeding, so UM will have the toughest road to Omaha of any national seed.

Out of the SEC, Florida and Auburn may have the easiest route out of their region. Tenn will have to beat Austin Peay(W) then probably Wichita. Then Georgia Tech or South Car.

I'm not sure if Tenn can make it all the way. But it does make for some interesting match ups...

If Money was on the line you wuold have got 6 out of 8 You know you would not have had State even past their regional.
