What is yalls opinion on the lady driver. I kind of wanted her to win. Do yall think it will degrade the sport.

i myself do not think that it will. It has not degraded nhra and you have several women drivers and the look at dragbikes some of the top competitors are female. I don't keep up with Nascar but I know for a while that there was Shawna Robinson or whatever her name was.
I think that the biggest problem with a female competing is that it hurts alot worse to get beat by a girl.

But the difference between this girl and Shawna Robinson is that she is really good where as Shawna is awful. I do believe that this girl was 13th in points and she almost won the indy 500.

No problems. Like Robby Gordon said there is a big difference in weight. Since the cars are weighd without the drivers it could make a difference. She only weighs 100 pounds which is about 100 pounds more than a lot of the drivers. Plus the girl look pretty darn good. The bonus was they kept showing that pretty little thing on the tube.

She may be pretty good. Probably better than any lady driver we've seen. BUT, she spun out and collected three cars UNDER CAUTION!!!
What kind of bone head work is that. Let's not think the days of male dominance are over just yet
Those tv announcers were giggling like little girls all day saturday. They got awfully quite when she took three guys out during that caution
To her credit, she made a reference to some "mistakes" in a post race interview.

To my knowledge wasnt Steve Park involved in a caution flag accident that almost ended his driving career. What a bone head!!!!
