SEC all time records in FB

Of the 117 current division one programs, Ole Miss ranks 30th in all-time victories and 46 in all time winning percentage. State is 71st and 97th, Bama is 6th and 4th respectively. I think that covers the ones pertinent to this board...

Some of the differences are minute, but others are quite large. (For instance, the total wins difference between Michigan at #1 and Notre Dame at #2 is 40 games, while the difference between Ohio State at #5 and Alabama #6 is only one game.)

Winning percentage is a bit better gauge, but even there we see a few anomalies. Teams with fewer games have better percentages....i.e. Boise State...and we will see how well they fare in the SEC this season.

The SEC records are below. Notice that only two teams have losing records...USCr and MSU. The number on the left is the team's rank among all 117 for total wins... the number on the right is the rank for winning percentage

#6 - ALA = 764-299-43/.710 (4]
#8 - TEN = 747-306-53/.699 (8]

#11- UGA= 683-372-54/.640 (13]
#13- LSU= 659-372-47/.633 (16]
#14- AUB= 648-379-47/.625 (18]

#23- ARK= 622-421-40/.593 (33]
#29- UFL = 597-364-40/.616 (20]
#30- OMS= 587-465-35/.572(46]

#44 - UKY= 534-528-44/.503 (84]
#45 - VND= 533-520-50/.506 (82]

#62- USCr= 495-512-44/.492 (90]
#71- MSS = 467-497-39/.485 (97]

But he won't since UM doesn't have a basketball program and just recently figured out that they could put a decent team on the baseball diamond.

the only reason i brought up football was b/c our illustrious moderator, GH22, who just so happens to be my idol, brought it up in the post about academics

give me time to research and i'll give you #'s on those other 2 sports, i still bet we don't come in the bottom 20 in the nation in all time winning %.....

I actually keep up with MSU. I have been to more MSU basketball and baseball games than I have at Ole Miss. But gh22 told me one day last week that a true UM fan would not pull for MSU. So I figured in good fun I would just argue all topics that talk about UM.

ok ok, in all fairness then, instead of going by last 20, we'll go by percentage, i bet we don't fall in the bottom 17 % in either sport

i've found the basketball stats, yall have roughly 100 wins more than us, and 100 losses less, winning percentages are .489 and .527 or so i believe

still looking up baseball

the main difference is though, we will admit Ole Miss basketball sucks, and that from the late 70's until recently baseball sucked, however, a true MSU fan will never admit that their football team sucks
