V. Pearson ineligible to play this fall for Rebs

UM's leading rusher last season (over 800 yards) will be ineligible to play this fall due to academics.
Appears Dean Wormer pointed out to Bluto...uh Vashon... that he made a 0.0 this past spring semester. The lowest in Faber...uh UM... history.
With all the tutoring and other help these athletes get, how in the hell do you have a 0.0 grade point average??
That is the bad news. The good news is that returning lettermen Jamal Pittman, Alan Abrams, etc.(and perhaps some incoming freshmen, walk ons or intramural players) will get more opportunity for PT.
