If they make it to the CWS, LSU won't be able to touch the contract Bianco is about to get. Smoke isn't going anywhere.

He's already got it........ contract was signed before SEC tourney, not sure of exact #'s, but it was huge, along with fairly massive stadium expansions.... I suppose if we win tomorrow and go to Omaha, the contract might get bigger, but from what i was told, there's not much more room to go up from the new contract.....

These two teams are super strong. And the atheletes Texas atheletes - unbelievable. And the players pregame routine and every thing else, probably even the way they sweat, is the same with every player. And you could tell the scouting was very precise as well. They laid off all the breaking stuff out of the zone and worked the count on us and we had trouble with that in game 1. Texas' game 2 pitcher was a freshman - was first team allstate baseballl and as a QB in footbal; threw a no hitter this year against Ok. Saw him warm up and, later, the scouts gun - 87 fastball and 78 curve. But the EXACT same arm motion, delivery, and release on every pitch. And very, very difficult to pick up the spin on the curve, at least for me.

It's hard to see anyone beating them on a very consistently. Hope UM pulls it out.

Both teams look good. They are pretty equal in about every aspect of the game.

Count me in too, 97 Stat Alum hopes the Rebels win tonight, I want as much SEC presence in the series as possible!!!! Besides maybe State Alum will put some pressure on to get some changes in our program.....sure was cool to watch nearly 10,000 fans at a baseball game in the good ole state of MS, no matter what team was playin, but done deep inside every bulldog fan, like myself, could only think how crazy the lounge would have been if the dawgs were hosting the super regional

Well I pulled for State when they were playing, but someone told me I could not be a true Ole Miss fan if I pulled for State. So I kept my thoughts to myself. Good year, losing a lot now though. I am pretty sure most will go ahead and sign nice contracts in the big leagues.
