He couldn't even pass the mininum 6 hrs during last spring to stay eligible. So they send him to CC even though he won't be able to pull up his grades since it's at a CC and not at MSU, won't count toward his required hrs.


It's a shame, an athlete only has to pass 12 of 24 hrs each year to stay in school and be eligible to play sports. But a regular student has to pass at least 12 yrs per semester to stay off of academic probation and to keep all scholarships, etc. And they got their ACT required score dropped 2 pts from them also.

Sharpe's GPA is way way way better than Pearson's though.

doubtful, they're actually probably about the same, if its' to the point that it can't be pulled up with 2 semesters of summer school, it's BAD, REAL BAD, Vashon was borderline until the final decision was made, so i don't think his was as bad as you said (.6 or whatever), i would be willing to bet that both of them have about the same gpa though.....

From what I read in the CL, any summer school hrs will not count towards your required passing hrs for fall/spring semesters.

i didn't know GPA's counted once you reach the point of failing. Kind of like saying "i failed better than you did."

They are probably both 1.0 or lower. Sharpe may be a little dumber though. He did fail out pretty early in his career. Either way it goes they are both stupid. Free college education, but won't take advantage of it.

Pearson's been failing for 4 yrs straight, just getting that D changed to a C to make the team every season.
