Gets what he deserves for going pro on his "guaranteed" lottery pick.

Sour Grapes   "Gets what he deserved" He should have seen it coming. Bench Press 185 1 time. Did not play good in McDonalds All American Game. Did not play at all in Chicago in the pre draft camp.

Intresting fact on ESPN only about 25% of second rounders make it in the NBA. If he can't make it at Golden State he does not need to be playing anyway.

He listened to his agent way too much, let it get to his head. He thought you only had to impress the scouts in practice, not in the acutal all star games against better comp. He could've walked right into the perfect situation with Ervin transferring, point guard spot all to himself.

he is very stupid for listening to a bball team that promises to take you in the first round also.

I think Monta got a little too full of himself with all the hoopla this season. On an interview the other night i heard him say "I'd like to just hang out with his friends. The ones I had before I got fabulous." He was wearing a tee shirt with ME on it. (Monta Ellis). Made me wanna puke.

You also have to ask yourself if you had the chance to go pro and get the $ right off or would you go to college risk getting hurt and maybe not go pro. You kinda have to look at both sides of it. JMO

Nothing beats college life, especially not being on the road trips 7 days, 5 games.

Those 4 yrs of college, well 5 yrs in my case , not my doing however, will always be something that you'll always remember, and for some to regret not going.

The thing about getting the $$$ right off.....you better hope you are a 1st round pick, guaranteed 3 yr deal. The 2nd rounders are screwed unless they can show that they can hang, and I honestly doubt Ellis will be able to. In all honestly with the attitude that Ellis developed late in the recruiting year, I'm glad he went pro, just like Perrilloux signing with LSU.

Quote in the clarion liar today from Ellis

"I know half the guys who were drafted — and I know I'm way better than them. But it's a blessing to get drafted by the Warriors. Now I'm just going to go in and work hard and prove everybody wrong."

If that were true, doesn't everyone think that he would've been picked ahead of those players?

Well if he is half as good as he was hyped up to be, then he will be able to make Golden State's roster. Which if he does he will make plenty of money and his descision would not look so bad.
