saw maniscalco play last night!!!

former bulldog shortstop is now with the montogomery biscuits of the AA southern league... (tampa bay devil rays affilate)..
manny's still slick as ever in the field.. showed great range and has a good arm...
wouldn't be suprised if he makes it to the majors just on his defensive skills....
he went 0-4 and didn't have a great night at the plate last night.
oh yea the braves won the game in the bot. of the 9th

true that! Strictly defensive players don't make it, there are too many ballplayers out there that can hold down a position of the field. Over a span of say 100-150 games they'll give up .050 in fielding percentage for .150 in Batting Average every day of the week!

i disagree cam lock..
if you are a extremely good defensive shortstop or catcher.. then ya got a chance...
who was the guy that played for the braves a few years ago.. raphel bellaird.. he could bearly hit his weight might not of even done that ... but they kept him around for a while just based on his defensive abilities...
anywhere els on the field and you had better be able to storke.. but theres a little more cushion for excellent fielding shortstops and catchers!!!

yeah, definitely more room for catchers and shorts but with the amount of Latin middle infielders roaming around the minors, not to mention the emphasis on them as well, He better start hitting...

kinda looks like a latin ballplayed.. dark completed and all..
he can field witht he best of'em if not better... if he can just get to where he can hit around .250.. he'll make it to the majors.. prolly as a back-up but at least he'll be there... pretty good pay i hear!!!!

I might can run across one but I doubt it, so you'll just have to take my word for it.
She might be in one of my yearbook's from MSU but I dunno, over half the students never take pics for the book.
